One of the rooms that piqued their interest was this bathroom:

Bathrooms are one of the most frequented rooms in a home, alongside the kitchen, so it pays to give this room the attention it deserves. When designing or renovating a bathroom we recommend you:

  1. Plan ahead: before starting any renovation, it's important to have a clear plan in place. Decide on your budget, timeline, and the specific changes you want to make to your bathroom.

  2. Hire professionals: depending on the scope of your renovation, you’ll need to hire professionals, such as interior designers, plumbers or electricians, to ensure the result is functional & beautiful, as well as safely and waterproof.

  3. Choose quality materials: invest in high-quality materials that will stand up to daily wear and tear. This will save you money in the long run, as you won't have to replace them as often, which can be costly.

  4. Consider layout and functionality: Make sure your bathroom layout is functional and meets your needs. Consider adding extra storage space, consider the room needed for multiple people to use the bathroom at once.

  5. Proper ventilation: Proper ventilation is important to prevent mould and mildew from developing in your bathroom. Make sure you have adequate ventilation and always consider a strong but quite fan as well as windows.

  6. Timeline: Set a timeline for your renovation and stick to it as closely as possible. This will help you avoid going over budget or experiencing unexpected delays.

  7. Lighting: Proper lighting is a necessity in a bathroom, especially if you use it for getting ready in the morning. Consider adding task lighting near the mirror and ambient lighting throughout the space.

Thank you, Happy Hongkongers for the shoutout!
