Online is our preferred and fastest method of ordering. However, if you would like to call us please do so on +852 9558 3007. Payment Methods are available via purchasing through our online store; MasterCard; Visa, American Express and PayPal. If you are a trade or wholesale client, we can invoice you.
All amounts listed on the website are in American Dollars (USD).
PRODUCT LEAD TIMES
Please note that most of our product is made to order. Our approximate lead times are between 2 - 12 weeks, however if there are any delays we will advise you immediately of estimated lead times and give you the opportunity to choose from the following options: cancel your order with full refund; the choice of an alternative product; a credit note to the value of your order (valid for 6 months from date of issue).
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY
Peace of mind returns: If you change your mind or your order is not quite right, you may return it to us within 7 days of the date you received it. You must contact us with your name and order number before returning any items. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
Items returned must be in ‘as-new’ condition. This means you have not used, damaged, washed or laundered any of the items. Please return items secured in their original packaging if possible.
After we have received your item and confirmed it is in ‘as-new’ condition, we will issue you with a store credit or refund of the purchase price less the initial delivery fees. If you have purchased an item using a free shipping offer and returned it because you have changed your mind, we will deduct the actual shipping cost to us from your refund. If we cannot be satisfied that you purchased the product from us then we will not accept your product for return.
Made to order items: All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for manufacturing one day after the order has been received. We understand that orders may need to change sometimes, however, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:
- If you cancel your order BEFORE manufacturing, you will not incur any fees.
- If you cancel your order AFTER manufacturing has begun, you will be charged 50% of invoice.
Your consumer rights: The goods you purchase come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your product is faulty, broken or otherwise non-compliant with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law please contact us as soon as possible with your name and order number and our customer care team will advise you on the next steps.
Damaged items: Unfortunately, and despite our best efforts, items are occasionally damaged in transit. If you notice that an item is damaged when it is delivered to you, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with clear digital photos showing the damage. Our customer care team will advise you on the next steps.
The type of remedy we offer will depend upon the circumstances. We may arrange to replace the product (subject to availability), provide you with a partial or full refund of the purchase amount or work with you to arrange the repair of the item by a local tradesperson in your area. If we require you to return the product to us, we will pay the cost of the return.
Our rights: We reserve the right to refuse a refund in cases where we deem damage to a product to be due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or failure to take reasonable care.
Exchange: As we do not hold stock, we are not able to offer exchanges.
International: we are not responsible for Customs / Duties and/or Taxes incurred on orders shipped outside of the Hong Kong. All International Orders will incur additional shipping fees.

PRODUCT & PRICING INFORMATION

Atelier Lane rugs are individually hand-tufted and hand woven items and as such, they are subject to the following variations, which are not considered manufacturing faults:
Size – being a handmade article, the size can vary by +/-3% from the size ordered.
Colour – Our rugs are made primarily from natural and undyed fibres. Every effort is made to ensure there is minimal colour variation however some variation can be expected. (5% is the Australian Standard for Carpet Colour variation). Charcoal colour products will fade in natural light/sunlight. Please note that some colour may transfer on light coloured surfaces. Rotate your rug to minimise damage caused by natural light.
Design & Construction – Minor variations may be evident, which is due to the fact that the rug is a hand made item including line/ weave thickness.
Shading – Occurs due to changes in the pile and weave direction and is a natural characteristic of carpets and rugs.
Shedding – Our hand made rugs are made from all natural fibres. Natural fibre rugs will initially shed loose fibres, this is normal. The removal of any loose fibres will be hastened by regular vacuuming using a good quality upright vacuum cleaner
Pop-ups- Due to the nature of the type of weaving, there will be short fibres popping up while the rug settles. This can be trimmed or pushed through.
All Atelier Lane product has been made with the highest quality products and care. If there is any manufacturing fault or transit damage when delivery has been arranged by us, Atelier Lane will replace the product.

Payment is required in full prior to delivery. Goods and services tax is payable on all products, designs and services sold to Australian clients. Freight costs are to be paid by the client and will be quoted on each individual order. Atelier Lane will organise delivery with a third supplier unless specified differently by the client. Payment can be made via EFT, MasterCard, Visa, PayPal or Cash.
Estimated delivery for wholesale orders is between 2 - 12 weeks (depending on product) and the client will be notified of lead times when placing orders. For all online wholesale orders expected delivery times are between 2 - 6 weeks (except for rugs).
